Shakshuka

Boiled eggs on tomatoes. Simple, fast, and above all
tasty vegetarian figures.
A 26 cm Magnum frying pan will come in handy.

2 tomatoes
2 eggs
1/2 tablespoon of butter or extra virgin olive oil
1 / 4-1 / 2 of a small clove of garlic
Spices:
salt
freshly ground pepper
a pinch of dried oregano
a pinch of chili

A method of preparing

 

Scald the tomatoes in hot water, peel them, then cut them into four parts and remove the stalks. Finally, chop into cubes and keep the juice.

Heat the butter or oil in a small frying pan, meanwhile chop the garlic and fry it for a while.

Put the chopped tomatoes and juice into the frying pan, add spices, fry everything for 4 minutes.

When the tomatoes are fried, add the eggs and salt. Cook, covered, for about 3 minutes, until the egg whites are solid.

Serve with herbs and / or bread.
